God is awesome! Life can sometimes be challenging but having accepted Jesus into my life, I know I've got someone who knows me better than anyone else and who is beside me always; to listen, to love, to inspire and to teach me how to try and lead a better life.

Through worship, fun and friendship with other Christians I've been able to grow in my faith and believe within my heart the message of the cross.

Life is more than survival, I'm not saying it's easy but Jesus gives my life a meaning and a purpose to try and make a difference in this mixed up world. God bless.

Mine is not a tale of dramatic conversion. Despite many years of going to Sunday school and Church, I often had questions, concerns and doubts about whether I deserved God's love.

It was only through an Alpha course that I realised that that was the point; that is that God still loved me even though I didn't deserve it! Nicky Gumbel said on one of the videos 'there is no such thing as a second class Christian'. This statement really spoke to me and brought down many of the barriers that I'd put between myself and God.

Our Lord is a wonderful provider, one who has a plan for us and will never fail us. However, nobody has ever said that my walk with God would be easy, but it is certainly challenging and very rewarding.
