We are pleased to welcome our new Youth Worker, Hayley.  Hayley will be getting involved in all our Youth Work, as well as building relationships with local schools and working in the Community. 

So much is going on over the next few weeks that we really wanted to make sure you had all the information at your fingertips. So we’ve prepared another edition of our ‘Impact’ magazine for you.

It’s with sadness that we share here news of the death of John Lovell, who has been a member of this church for many years.

John has been a deacon, has contributed enormously to the upkeep of the buildings, being of a very practical disposition, and has also worked for many years on the Holiday Club staff. He was a man of great integrity and openness, always prepared to speak the difficult truth, someone who always lived what he believed.

We’re grateful to God for all that he taught us through John, and our prayers and thoughts are with his family just now.

The first bit of news to post is the appointment of our new Church Administrator, Steve Bradford. Steve has been a member of the Church for many years, and has served as Church Secretary in the past.

Steve will be working Tuesday to Thursday, 9am – 12noon each day. You can reach him by telephone – 0116 239 3173 – or by email to admin@kirbyfree.org – or you can simply call in.

We’d ask you to be considerate – Steve’s working hours don’t include Sunday, so please try not to load him down with ‘business’ – hold that back till Tuesday!
